We craft heirloom quality leather holsters that last as long as your firearm. Rest easy, knowing you are protected by our lifetime warranty.

If you ever feel your Hunter holster or other Hunter product isn’t functioning properly, we’ll do everything possible to make it right.

Each purchase with Hunter is just the beginning of many years of a better everyday carry experience. We're glad to have you aboard!

Terms

Hunter Company offers a lifetime guarantee on eligible eCommerce orders placed through our website from March 1, 2024, onward. Our lifetime guarantee reflects our belief in family, Western values, and the power of a handshake. We honor this agreement in most cases, but reserve the right to protect ourselves against fraudulent claims. For example, if a vintage Hunter holster is purchased from a reseller for a fraction of the current price, the buyer cannot claim a new, full-priced Hunter holster at no additional cost under this guarantee.

Please note:

  • The lifetime warranty only applies to orders placed directly through our website on or after March 1, 2024.
  • Orders placed through a dealer or distributor are not eligible for this warranty.
Repair Service
Hunter Company offers a free repair service on all products regardless of when or where they were purchased. If your purchase was made prior to March 1, 2024, or was not purchased through our website, you will be responsible for the shipping costs to and from our workshop. If the purchase was made on or after March 1, 2024, and via our website, we will cover the cost of shipping for repairs, provided this is part of our handshake guarantee.

If a repair is requested after the initial repair provided under the warranty, customers will be responsible for covering shipping costs to and from our workshop for subsequent repairs.

We strive to perform repairs promptly, but cannot guarantee specific timelines.

Warranty Coverage
Our lifetime warranty covers repairs or replacements resulting from natural wear and tear and unintended product breakage. This includes instances such as popped stitching or similar issues. However, the warranty does not apply if:
  • The damage results from modifications made to the product.
  • The product is beyond repair and more than five years have passed since the original purchase date. An example of "beyond repair" includes a radical tear in the leather that compromises its structural integrity.
  • The product's damage is due to causes other than natural wear and tear, such as setting the holster on fire.
  • The product is lost, stolen, or disposed of.
  • The damage is caused by accident, abuse, neglect, shock, improper use, or improper storage of the product.
  • Unauthorized modifications or repairs have been made to the product.
If five years or more have passed since the order date, we can only offer repair services, not replacement. If the product is beyond repair after this period, no further action will be taken.

Product Eligibility
The warranty does not apply to any product damage caused by improper modifications. Customers are responsible for ensuring the product fits their firearm properly and retains it securely. Should there be any issues upon receipt, such as damage during shipping, you must contact us within 30 days for a resolution, as this is a separate matter from the warranty.

Product Qualification
This lifetime warranty applies to our leather holsters, leather rifle slings, leather gun belts, leather ammo carriers, leather scabbards, and leather gun cases. It does not apply to our maintenance accessories like our leather conditioner or replacement hardware or replacement straps. Nor does it apply to any primarily nylon, canvas, or suede-based Hunter products. If you have questions about specific product eligibility, feel free to contact our team for clarification.

How to Make a Warranty Claim
To make a claim under our warranty policy, please contact our team with your order information. We will guide you through the process of repair or replacement, as applicable. Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims. Please note that all decisions regarding warranty claims are final. While we strive to accept the vast majority of requests, any denial is final, and by purchasing from us, you accept this.

Disclaimer
The lifetime warranty is subject to our discretion to ensure fairness and protect against abuse. We are committed to honoring our handshake guarantee for genuine claims; however, Hunter Company reserves the right to deny any warranty claims in cases of suspected fraud or misuse of our policy.
